Australian Wool Innovation delivers an enhanced Salesforce user experience for their team

“We have Salesforce users in different continents around the world.  The conversion from Salesforce Classic to LEX (Lightning Experience) allows our users to have better navigation and data management experiences. Keeping our Salesforce environment up to date with Salesforce trends is a plus for us too.” Michelle Rando – Digital Customer Engagement Manager

Australian Wool Innovation Limited (AWI) Australian Wool Innovation is a not-for-profit company owned by more than 55,000 Australian woolgrowers. AWI invests in research, development, innovation and marketing along the global supply chain for Australian merino wool. AWI has been utilising Salesforce since 2008, with a global team of 120+ users.

To convert an existing Salesforce instance, used by a global team and operational since 2008 to the enhanced Lightning Interface (LEX).

AWI worked closely together with WDCi to analyse the current Salesforce implementation prior to conversion.

This analysis and resulting plan ensured the business and user flow in Salesforce would be maintained post-conversion with minimum impact on users.

Deployment was executed in phases ensuring a smooth transition from sandbox to production.

Once complete, training was provided to the AWI  system administrator, enabling them to roll out this to their team.
