Caloundra Film Festival: Burning
Introducing the Telstra Store Caloundra 2018 Caloundra Film Festival which will be taking place October 9-17 2018. Opening Night will be screening the Korean Drama – Burning. Burning has won various awards such as International Cinephile Society Awards, FIPRESCI Prize and Vulcain Prize for Technical Artist during the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
Burning tells the story of a young man named Jongsu, who is brought back together with an old flame Haemi. The real story begins after Haemi returns from holidays – with a young man named Ben – where she soon is discovered missing.
This film directed by legendary Korean Director Chang-dong Lee isn’t one you want to miss. Join us for the opening on Tuesday, October 9 at 7 pm.
