Jitterbit Salesforce Data Loader: SQL Server with Windows Authentication

In Jitterbit, it allows you to connect to a SQL Server database via JDBC to retrieve the data and load them into Salesforce. The default authentication used in the tool is SQL Server database authentication. However, can you still use the tool if your company only allows you to access the database by using Windows Authentication? The answer is yes.

JItterbit is using JDBC driver from jTDS. Having that said, you can actually configure the JDBC connection string manually to include the required parameters for Windows Authentication: useNTLMv2 and domain. For example: jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://wdciserver:1433/wdcidatabase;useNTLMv2=true;domain=wdcigroup;
Below is the sample configuration in Jitterbit.
